On November 10, Aberystwyth University will be joining institutions from across the world for Anthology’s Fix Your Content Day 2026.

This is a 24-hour, worldwide competition bringing institutions together to improve the accessibility of their digital course content using Blackboard Ally.

You can help us. Join us in B23 Llandinam between 2pm and 4pm for a drop-in session where you will have a chance to review your Blackboard content and improve your accessibility score. The Digital Education Team will be available to answer questions and help you use Ally. Tea and biscuits will also be provided (fuel for all that content-fixing you’re about to do).

Please come along if you can. Just 10 minutes spent fixing your content could mean a significantly different learning experience for your students. Every fix – big or small – makes a difference.

With your help, we can ensure a more inclusive learning environment for all our students.

You don’t have to wait – here’s how you can start fixing now:

• Review your courses for red and orange indicators 
• Focus on quick wins like adding image descriptions or improving Microsoft Word documents 
• Start fixing on November 10 and keep things going throughout the day, and beyond! 
• Aim for 100%, but improvement is what counts
