What is the Festival of Research? 

The festival is an annual event that highlights the world leading research taking place at Aberystwyth University. This year it is taking place as part of our 150th anniversary celebrations. 

One of the key aims of the Festival is to engage with local communities as well as sharing ideas and insights. 

Where and when does it take place?

Events will take place between Monday the 21st of November and Monday 5th December. Most events are located on Penglais Campus. Below is the list of all Festival venues, with links to a map. 

How can I get tickets? 

Tickets for all events are available through Eventbrite:  https://bit.ly/3DDgJSu  

Booking is essential as tickets are limited. 

How can I return tickets if I can no longer attend? 

When you book a ticket through Eventbrite you will receive an email with details of the event that you booked a ticket for. On the bottom of this email there will be a link to view and manage your order online. This link will take you to the Eventbrite website where you will be able to cancel your order.

Do I have to pay to attend?

The majority of the festival events are free of charge. For some events which we partner with other organisers, a fee may be charged.  

Who is the Festival aimed at? 

The festival covers a variety of topics and events have been organised for schools, members of the local community and anyone interested in research.

Speakers during the festival can be found in the programme.
