It is run for and by postgraduate students and this highly\nsuccessful conference not only provides a supportive environment for postgrads\nto share their work but also acts as a catalysis for networking and building\ncollaborations that often last a lifetime!\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<!-- \/wp:post-content --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<h1><strong>Who can attend the conference?<\/strong><\/h1>\nThe conference is run for and by postgraduate students (E.g., Masters and PhD students) in the field of marine biology. Postgraduate students may attend in person or online.\n\nUndergraduate students in the field of marine biology are also welcomed to attend online only.\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<h1><strong>How do I register?<\/strong><\/h1>\nThe ticket deadline for in person attendance has now passed.\n\nYou can register to attend view conference talks online for free <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/mba23\/online-registration\/\">here<\/a>.\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<h1><strong>How do I sign up for MBA membership?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\nMBA members will receive discounted admission to the MBA 2023 postgraduate conference.\n\nFurther information on the benefits of MBA membership, as well as prices and how to sign up can be found at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mba.ac.uk\/our-membership\/\">https:\/\/www.mba.ac.uk\/our-membership\/<\/a>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<h1><strong>How do I submit an abstract?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\nThe abstract submission deadline has now passed.\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<h1><strong>Can I attend the conference without presenting?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\nYou are welcome to attend the conference without presenting! Come along and listen to presentations, and network with your peers and keynote speakers!\n\nWe encourage our attendees to submit an application to present, as it is a great opportunity to practice your presentation skills in a supportive environment.\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<h1><strong>Do I have to attend the conference in person?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\nWe encourage postgraduates to attend the conference in person, as it provides a valuable chance to network with your peers and keynote speakers.\n\nThis year, we will not be accepting online posters or pre-recorded talks, so, if you would like to present you must attend in-person. However, if you would like to just watch the prestation you can register to attend either in person or online, where we will be streaming conference presentations.\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<h1><strong>About Aberystwyth<\/strong><\/h1>\nAberystwyth is located on the coast of West Wales in the heart of Cardigan Bay,\nand is home to the National Library of Wales. Aberystwyth University was the\nfirst University College in Wales established in 1872. The town is filled with\nfriendly independent shops, cosy cafes and pubs, and for those wanting a bird\u2019s\neye view of the town, a trip in the funicular up constitution hill is a must!\n\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:separator -->\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n<!-- \/wp:separator -->\n\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<h1><strong>How to get here<\/strong><\/h1>\nAberystwyth is far from most places, but that is part of it&#8217;s charm. Fortunately, there are multiple options available for travel through Wales:\n<h1><strong>Train <\/strong><\/h1>\nTrains run direct to Aberystwyth from Birmingham and Shrewsbury every one to two hours (National Rail).\n<h1><strong>Car<\/strong><\/h1>\nBristol &#8211; follow the A40 onto the A479, and then A470.\nBirmingham &#8211; follow the M54 to the A5 onto the A458, onto the A44.\nLiverpool &#8211; follow the M53 to the A483 to the A487.\n<h1><strong>Coach<\/strong><\/h1>\nCoaches from London and other major cities are available.
