If that\u2019s not your thing, how about Allen Ginsberg and William Burroughs talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/learningonscreen.ac.uk\/ondemand\/index.php\/prog\/RT4150DE?bcast=119872875\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jack Kerouac on<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/learningonscreen.ac.uk\/ondemand\/index.php\/prog\/RT4150DE?bcast=119872875\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Arena<\/a><\/em> in 1988 ? Not for you? Then maybe an episode of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/learningonscreen.ac.uk\/ondemand\/index.php\/prog\/RT3DDD9F?bcast=119559815\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Horizon<\/a> <\/em>from 1980 exploring how voice-controlled word processors are set to revolutionise the office). Or how about a personal tour of Stratford upon Avon in the company of Welsh playwright Huw Lloyd Edwards in<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/learningonscreen.ac.uk\/ondemand\/index.php\/prog\/buf4f51bd?bcast=123955003\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arall Fyd<\/a><\/em> from 1972?<\/p>\n<p>Of course this is the BBC so there is so much more: cultural highlights (<em>BBC Television Shakespeare)<\/em>; landmark light entertainment (<em>Multi-Coloured Swap Shop<\/em> \u2013 that\u2019s my childhood, right there!) There are flagship news shows (<em>Newsnight<\/em>) and historic accounts of landmark social and cultural events (<em>Yesterday\u2019s Witness<\/em>).
