Lucy Taylor is an academic at Aberystwyth University, Department of International Politics. She takes a decolonial approach to Latin American Studies, reflecting particularly on experiences in Argentina. Her work at the moment is on the Welsh community in Patagonia from 1865-1900, especially their relationship to the indigenous peoples who lived here.
Lucy is a former President of SLAS (Society for Latin American Studies) and is an Editor of BLAR, the Bulletin of Latin American Research, and serves on the British Academy Latin America and Caribbean Panel.
