These are the answers to our most frequently asked questions about Panopto over the last few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Linking to All Panopto Recordings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/faqs.aber.ac.uk\/index.php?id=336\">create a link to the Panopto folder<\/a> in your Blackboard course. This means that students will be able to see the recordings for the course all in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finding your Panopto folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Panopto folders for all this year\u2019s modules are in the 2024-25 folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To find the Panopto folder you want to record into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the dropdown button on the right-hand side of the Folder box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the dropdown arrow to the left of the academic year folder to expand it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Panopto folder you want to record into.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also search for the Panopto folder you want to record into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the Folder box start typing the module code or name of the Panopto folder you want to Record into<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the folder you want to record into.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"732\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 888 \/ 732;\" width=\"888\" controls src=\"http:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/files\/2024\/10\/panopto_2024-25-folder_default.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to do if you can\u2019t see your Panopto folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In a small number of courses, the Panopto folder wasn\u2019t created over the summer. If you can\u2019t find your Panopto folder using the steps above, you can create a folder from Blackboard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login to Blackboard and find your course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Books and Tools <\/strong> &gt; <strong>View course and institution tools <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Holl Fideo Panopto \/ All Panopto Videos<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You should then be able to find the Panopto folder to make a recording.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As teaching starts, you may find this information about Panopto useful.
