Panopto Assignments are used for students to submit a recording or presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this change, we recommend that you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Create a Blackboard Assignment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students submit via Blackboard Assignment and upload via the Panopto submission tool<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The advantages to this new workflow are that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>The workflow for submission and marking is easier<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marks and feedback automatically go into the Gradebook<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students receive an email receipt for their submission<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To support staff with this process, we have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/media\/departmental\/informationservices\/e-learning\/panopto-assignments_2023_EN.docx\">Panopto Assignment guide <\/a>that takes you through setting up the assignment, student submission, and marking on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/is\/it-services\/elearning\/lecture-capture\/\">Lecture Capture webpages.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve also got a FAQ for <a href=\"https:\/\/faqs.aber.ac.uk\/index.php?search=2396\">staff<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/faqs.aber.ac.uk\/index.php?search=1581\">students<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve got any questions, please contact the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Unit (<a href=\"mailto:elearning@aber.ac.uk\">elearning@aber.ac.uk<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In our previous blogpost we outlined some of the changes to Panopto with our move to Blackboard Learn Ultra.
