Before joining Blackboard she previously worked with Blackboard products for over 15 years in various roles at both The University of Edinburgh and Queen Margaret University. Starting in first line support, providing training and support to staff and students, she progressed onto second line support, managing relationships with suppliers to resolve issues. This led Josephine into service management, and onto managing the team that provided the learning technology services for the University. This has given her an understanding of the considerations in running the Blackboard Learn service from both the user and institution perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dennis Nevels \u2013 Senior Educational Consultant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Senior Educational Consultant Dennis\u2019s primary role is to assist clients with planning the transition from Learn Original to Learn Ultra as a trusted advisor to staff and leadership developing deep partnership relationships. Dennis has an expert knowledge of Strategic Planning, Change <a>Management, Process<\/a>&nbsp; Design, (Online) Pedagogical Approaches and specialist subject matter expertise in Student Success, Teaching &amp; Learning, Data and Assessments.&nbsp;&nbsp; Prior to working at Anthology, Dennis worked for 12 years in higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nicolaas Matthijs &#8211; Vice President of Product Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicolaas Matthijs is an entrepreneur and product creator with over 15 years of experience in Educational Technology. Nicolaas has led the design and development of Learning Management Systems, Academic Collaboration Tools, Learning Analytics solutions and other learning tools, and worked at several universities in the UK, Belgium and US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicolaas is Vice President for Product Management at Anthology and leads the Product Management team for Blackboard Learn, working closely with clients and users to set the roadmap and direction for Anthology\u2019s Virtual Learning Environment. Nicolaas is also a member of the Board of Directors for IMS Europe and the UK All Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Martyn Rollason \u2013 Senior Account Executive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Centrally based in Bromsgrove in the UK, Martyn is a Senior Account Executive responsible for the management of a number of significant clients in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Martyn has over 20 years of experience in technology sales, the last 15 of which have been focused on Software.&nbsp; Martyn has extensive experience of working with academic clients across the EMEA region and is passionate about the use of technology to ensure student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gillian Fielding \u2013 Client Experience Manager<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Based in Lancashire, UK, Gillian supports organisations to turn their strategic vision into a reality through the effective and efficient use of learning technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gillian has over 30 years experience in education and 8 years experience at Blackboard\/Anthology.
