{"id":6295,"date":"2023-06-05T15:54:54","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T14:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/?p=6295"},"modified":"2023-06-05T15:54:55","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T14:54:55","slug":"required-minimum-presence-2023-24-updated-for-ultra-courses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/2023\/06\/05\/required-minimum-presence-2023-24-updated-for-ultra-courses\/","title":{"rendered":"Required Minimum Presence 2023-24: Updated for Ultra Courses"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/files\/2022\/11\/Ultra-Blog.jpg\" alt=\"Icon Blackboard Ultra\" class=\"wp-image-5351\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/files\/2022\/11\/Ultra-Blog.jpg 696w, https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/files\/2022\/11\/Ultra-Blog-300x86.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>In preparation for our move to Ultra, the University\u2019s Blackboard Required Minimum Presence has been updated and approved by Academic Enhancement Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We revisit all our policies annually, but the move to Blackboard Ultra has meant that we have spent longer preparing the RMP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/is\/it-services\/elearning\/blackboard\/required-minimum-presence\/\"><strong>RMP 2023-24 is now available on our webpages.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the changes to the RMP are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>Module Information<\/strong> folder should contain:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Link to all Panopto recordings on a module<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff contact details<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An organised location for<strong> Learning Materials<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We have not specified a Learning Materials folder owing to the two-level of folder restrictions in Ultra<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Colleagues have the option to create a structure that meets their needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Assessment and Feedback <\/strong>folder remains the same as before and is pre-populated with:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guidance for students on submitting their work and finding their feedback.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regulation on Unacceptable Academic Practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link to the Referencing and Plagiarism LibGuide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link to Past Exam Papers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Aspire Reading List <\/strong>link should be on the content page of the module and no more than 6 folder levels down. If you have questions about your reading lists, please contact your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/is\/library-services\/librarians\/\"><strong>Subject Librarians.<\/strong><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We have now started our Departmental Ultra training programme and hope to see you over the coming weeks.
