{"id":4859,"date":"2022-07-27T15:46:01","date_gmt":"2022-07-27T14:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/?p=4859"},"modified":"2022-07-27T15:46:02","modified_gmt":"2022-07-27T14:46:02","slug":"annual-learning-and-teaching-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/2022\/07\/27\/annual-learning-and-teaching-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual Learning and Teaching Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1440\" height=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/files\/2020\/02\/Call-for-proposals-banner.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-825\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We are&nbsp;looking forward to welcoming you to the 10<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Annual Learning and Teaching Conference, which is just over a month away, <strong>12-14 September.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;This year\u2019s conference theme,&nbsp;Designing the Teaching of Tomorrow: Innovation, Enhancement, and Excellence: Celebrating 10 years of Aberystwyth University&#8217;s Learning and Teaching Conferences, aims to reflect the commitment that AU staff&nbsp;have to&nbsp;enhance&nbsp;the student learning experience and recognise a decade of conferences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re pleased to confirm&nbsp;our<strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/is\/it-services\/elearning\/networks-and-events\/networks-and-events-learning-teaching-conference\/conferencetimetable\/\">full programme. <\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;We will have 2 online days (Monday 12 and Wednesday 14 September) and 1 in person day (Tuesday 13 September).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;You&nbsp;can&nbsp;register for the conference by&nbsp;completing this&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Faber.onlinesurveys.ac.uk%2F10ltc-booking&amp;data=05%7C01%7C%7C836c5008a41b4936f70608da6fddeaa6%7Cd47b090e3f5a4ca084d09f89d269f175%7C0%7C0%7C637945296168241937%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=UHHkrOaBjqXSN44LCGqv0%2FrJoZQsWPQxF%2F2R25gxM1g%3D&amp;reserved=0\">online form<\/a>.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;We\u2019re&nbsp;very&nbsp;excited to welcome&nbsp;three external speakers this year:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This year\u2019s keynote speaker is presented by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/2022\/06\/15\/annual-learning-and-teaching-conference-keynote-announcement\/\">Kyra Araneta, Jennifer Fraser, and Moonisah Usman<\/a><\/strong> from the University of Westminster. They will be looking specifically at socially just staff and student partnership work.<\/li><li>Our second external speaker,&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/e-learning\/2022\/05\/17\/guest-speaker-announcement-annual-learning-and-teaching-conference\/\">Alex Hope<\/a><\/strong>, will be looking at meaningful ways in which we can embed sustainability across our curricula.<\/li><li>We\u2019re delighted to welcome back our colleague, Ania Udalowska, to run a session on the Digital Learning Champions project they are running at the University of Arts London.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We have an exciting and varied programme this year with representatives from all faculties.
