This year, the University procured <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/is\/it-services\/elearning\/polling-tool\/\">Vevox<\/a><\/em>, an online polling tool, that is fully integrated in Teams and can make your face to face activities interactive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Call for Proposals:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re looking for colleagues that make use of polling software in their learning and teaching to present at the Mini Conference. Potential topics might include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Using polling for induction and ice-breaker activities<\/li><li>Polling for gamification<\/li><li>Polling for driving up learning<\/li><li>Making in-person teaching sessions interactive<\/li><li>Polling for asynchronous activities<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit your <a href=\"https:\/\/aber.onlinesurveys.ac.uk\/mini-conference-using-polling-software-to-enhance-learnin\">proposal online<\/a> before <strong>Friday 19<sup>th<\/sup> November.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Booking for the one-day event is already open \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/aber.onlinesurveys.ac.uk\/booking-form-using-polling-software-to-enhance-learning-a\">book online.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ll be joined by some external presenters at the event so keep an eye on our blog as we announce our programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve got any questions, let us know: <a href=\"mailto:lteu@aber.ac.uk\">lteu@aber.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Learning and Teaching Enhancement Unit is pleased to announce that it\u2019s next Mini Conference will be taking place on Thursday 16th December, online via Teams.
