Over 1,000 of our students told us about their attitudes and experiences of technology in learning and teaching. This was a free text question, which we analysed for themes. Common themes included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-list\"><li><strong>42%<\/strong> mentioned improvements to <strong>online learning design and organisation<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>14%<\/strong> mentioned more<strong> engaging and interactive online learning<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>12% <\/strong>mentioned more <strong>interaction with other students<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>11%<\/strong> mentioned more <strong>live teaching sessions<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>10% <\/strong>mentioned better <strong>digital provision<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>9%<\/strong> mentioned more <strong>interaction with lecturers<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>6%<\/strong> mentioned building <strong>digital skills and capability<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Positive aspects of online learning<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students were asked what aspect of learning online, if any, had been most positive for them. This was a free text question, which we analysed for themes. Common themes included: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-list\"><li><strong>54%<\/strong> mentioned<strong> flexibility<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>27%<\/strong> mentioned<strong> access to materials and resources<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>12%<\/strong> mentioned<strong> contact with lecturers<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>10%<\/strong> mentioned benefits for <strong>wellbeing and disabilities<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>7%<\/strong> mentioned <strong>engaging and interactive teaching<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>7%<\/strong> mentioned <strong>digital technology<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>6%<\/strong> mentioned<strong> contact with other students<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Negative aspects of online learning<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students were asked what aspect of learning online, if any, had been most negative for them. This was a free text question, which we analysed for themes.
