Mae i hyn fudd amlwg, ymarferol; er enghraifft, mae creu efelychiad o hedfan ar gyfer unigolyn sy\u2019n brwydro \u00e2 ffobia yngl\u0177n \u00e2 hedfan yn ateb llawer haws na threfnu taith awyren i\u2019r unigolyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ar ben hyn, gall y therapydd weithio nid yn unig ar sail disgrifiad y claf ond gall wylio\u2019u hymatebion. Gall y therapydd a\u2019r claf ill dau reoli\u2019r ysgogiadau a gall hynny wneud y driniaeth yn ddiogelach yn gorfforol a seicolegol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Mae gan rithrealiti\u2019r gallu i drawsnewid y ffordd o asesu, deall a thrin problemau iechyd meddwl\u2019 (Freeman, et al., t. 2392). Cafodd ei ddefnyddio ar gyfer asesu a thrin ffobi\u00e2u, pryder, PTSD, caethiwed, paranoia, anhwylderau bwyta ac awtistiaeth.
