With the recent&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.aber.ac.uk\/digital-capabilities\/2021\/12\/02\/welcome-digital-capabilities-blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">establishment of the Universities\u2019 new Digital Capabilities Project<\/a>, you\u2019ll likely hear much more about digital capabilities over the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What are digital capabilities?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Jisc, digital capabilities equip individuals to live, learn and work in a digital society. You\u2019ll find there a huge variety of content that can help you to improve your digital capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we develop the Digital Capabilities Project, we will be providing staff and students with access to further resources and guidance which will help you to assess and develop your digital capabilities. For example, we are currently piloting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalcapability.jisc.ac.uk\/our-service\/discovery-tool\/\">Jisc Digital Discovery Tool<\/a>, a bilingual resource that allows users to self-assess their digital capabilities, with several departments across the University.
