As assignment deadlines, begin to creep closer, it can quite quickly start to feel a bit overwhelming. However, with the right preparation, you can significantly increase your chances of success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These steps will help get you there: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Make Note of Deadlines. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Note down the assignment’s due date (Typically found in module handbooks). <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Decide how much time is needed to complete the work. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Plan a day to start working on the assignment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      1. Schedule Your Day <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Plan your tasks for the day. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Make sure to factor in breaks. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • These daily goals can be a broad or as focused as you’d like. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          1. Working in a Group <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • Aim to coordinate as early as possible. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Set deadlines together. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Divide up the workload. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Use the Hugh Owen Library group work rooms. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  \n
                • Notion can be used to record assignment deadlines. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Google Tasks and Microsoft-To-Do can help you to divide tasks up by day. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Use Teams to help you organise your group meetings and tasks. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
