She wrote the bilingual words on the frontage of the Wales Millennium Centre \u2013 in six-foot high stained-glass windows, rumoured to be the biggest poem in the world. She\u2019s an award-winning poet in both Welsh and English and has published eight books of poetry. The latest,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodaxebooks.com\/titlepage.asp?isbn=1852248998\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <em>Sparrow Tree<\/em><\/a> (Bloodaxe Books, 2011) won the <a href=\"http:\/\/walesbookoftheyear.co.uk\/archive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roland Mathias Poetry Award<\/a>. In 2010 Gwyneth was awarded a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.societyofauthors.org\/cholmondeley\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Society of Authors Cholmondeley Award<\/a> for a distinguished body of work. Her two memoirs are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harpercollins.co.uk\/9780007232802\/sunbathing-in-the-rain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Sunbathing in the Rain: A Cheerful Book on Depression<\/em> <\/a>and <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.harpercollins.co.uk\/9780007120642\/two-in-a-boat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Two in a Boat<\/a><\/em>. She also writes plays for stage and television and libretti.
