She was born in Sheffield and studied English at the University of Sussex. <i><em>Then Spree<\/em><\/i> (Salt, 2012) is her first pamphlet of poems. In Spring 2014 she took over the editorship of the international quarterly\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetrywales.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Poetry Wales<\/i><\/a>. She also co-edits\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/poemsinwhich.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Poems in Which<\/i><\/a>\u00a0(winner of best magazine in the 2014 Saboteur awards) and works with the international literary projects<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lit-across-frontiers.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Literature Across Frontiers<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/waleslitexchange.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wales Literature Exchange<\/a>.
