She now teaches English and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University. In 2001 she won the Cardiff Academi International Poetry Competition, and began publishing poems. Her first collection, <em>Kink and Particle<\/em> (Seren, 2006), was a Poetry Book Society recommendation and winner of the Jerwood Aldeburgh First Collection Award. <em>Catulla et al<\/em> (Bloodaxe, 2011) was shortlisted for the Roland Mathias Poetry Award and was a <em>TLS<\/em> Book of the Year. Her latest collection, <em>So Many Moving Parts<\/em> (Bloodaxe, 2014), is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation.
