Interview: Richard Marggraf Turley

Richard Marggraf Turley was born in the Forest of Dean, and moved to Wales when he was seven. A poet and critic, he works at Aberystwyth University, where he teaches English literature and creative writing. In 2013, he was appointed the university’s Professor of Engagement with the Public Imagination. His creative work includes Whiteout (Parthian, 2006), co-authored with Damian Walford Davies; The Fossil-Box (Cinnamon, 2008); and Wan-Hu’s Flying Chair (Salt, 2009). He won the Keats-Shelley Prize for Poetry in 2007 and Wales Book of the Year ‘People’s Choice’ in 2010.
